Race,The Review

Took a day off from work today cause I was feeling a little under the weather, so decided to watch some of the movies that have been lying unwatched, top of the list came “Race” a multi starrer that features Saif Ali,Akshaye Khanna,Bipasha Basu and Katrina Kaif,Anil Kapoor and Sameera Reddy.

The premise is simple, boy meets girl and gives her to his brother, cause the brother is a wanker who can’t get a girl on his own, so far so good, but after that the directors decided to deviate from the tried and tested formula perfected by Karan Johar and try to introduce some hollywoodesque twists and turns in the movie (we’ll revisit this later)

For now lets move onto the characters, I’ll decline wasting time on the minor actors in this movie like Saif,Akshaye,Bipasha and Katrina, you might be mislead into thinking that they are the stars of this movie but you’d be wrong, the real star by far is Anil Kapoor playing a big screen version of carrot chewing Karamchand on speed, only he carries it to heights that the original could only dream of,while Karamchand preferred the humble carrot from the vegetable family,Anil Kapoor (A.K.) practically makes love to every conceivable fruit he can lay his paws on,take a view of this:
